Innovative Start Up, Temporary management

Context: Italian companies based in Friuli - Venezia Giulia involved in research, development, design, construction, and commercialization of innovative electric weeding robots Made in Italy.

 Problem 

  • The startup was created by a group of entrepreneurs together with two people who are experts in the sector, without a figure in the role of General Manager who would oversee the typical activities of launching and managing a Start Up.

 Proposed solution 

  • Presence in the company of a Temporary Manager with general management functions for a period of 18/24 months
  • Study and drafting of the company Budget broken down into Sales Budget, Raw Materials Purchase Budget, Personnel Costs Budget, Investment Budget.

  • Assistance to the Client in the definition, development, and management of typical activities in the startup phase of a company.

  • Implementation of a series of activities that concern the promotion of new products and the development of the company's competitiveness. The activities planned in this project are functional to achieving these objectives. The main activities planned in the project are:

  1. Operational support for the technological and electronic aspects of the weeding robot.
  2. Support services in the initial development of the company.
  3. Operational and management support for the company and drafting of the Business Plan.
  4. Organization of events and meetings
  5. Creation of promotional campaigns through newsletters and other means.
  6. Expansion of the website.
  7. Creation and printing of promotional brochures and leaflets.

  • Research of resources and tools: the project envisages the acquisition of significant consultancy of an operational and managerial nature that allows the Start-up to better define the technological, organizational, commercial, and marketing aspects of its activities.

  • Creation of communication tools both online (newsletter, website, social media, etc.) and on paper (brochures, leaflets), for the organization of events and meetings.

  • Start of production activity.
  • Defined Budget and three-year plan.
  • Identified Project Manager functional to the project.
  • Obtained contribution of €90,000, awaiting the second.
